Hana-Maui Resort - Destination by Hyatt

Beautiful old school resort in Hawaii. Not everyone's cup of tea since it really is very isolated. Perfect romantic getaway. The staff are absolutely a delight and all seem very excited to work there. One of the employees took the time to ask me about all the best Hyatt experiences in my travels. If you take a look at the parking situation you will need a map and also probably need one of the staff with a golf cart to help if you have any ADA concerns. Rooms are clean if generally a little dated. No TVs but AC was available in our suite. We stayed in the Oceanfront Bungalow Premier Suite and the bathroom was clearly updated and refurbished versus the photos on the website. Wifi is a little weak for any serious work at all but it does make up for the spotty cell service. Globalist recognition was excellent. Honeymoon amenity was provided in addition to a paid spa amenity basket (I paid out of pocket). Food and drinks in the hotel restaurant were excellent. The main pool was absolutely gorgeous. The views from the Adirondack chairs are amazing at night with the waves and the clear stars at night. Wished on a shooting star on our last night that we'd be back!

Wonderful stay! We stayed in an oceanfront bungalow, it was very large and spacious, good size bathroom and large patio. The furnishings are clean and more than adequate. The rooms have good air conditioning and WiFi was good. Beyond the amazing setting and accommodations, the staff here was truly outstanding! Everyone from check-in to check-out was extra friendly and delivered great service. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort and it was good. The ranch was undergoing renovations during our stay, so both meals were at the on-site restaurant. Special shout out to Sonny for going above and beyond.

It's a wonderfully magical place. A resort that is not a resort. Everything you want is here but in a very peaceful location. It is not a place for those who want "stuff" to do. One dinner restaurant and fantastic food trucks. The nightly entertainment are the stars and sound of the ocean waves. Included is morning meditation and yoga classes! Local artists' gallery is the best. A place to truly recharge.

Fantastic place to stay after the long road to Hana! The location is amazing. If you can get one of the rooms overlooking the ocean, I would highly recommend it. This place is beautiful and very relaxing, the rooms are spacious and clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained and the service is great. Great amenities: sauna, spa, 2 pools, gym, yoga pavilion. Food is also very good, which is important since there isn’t much choice in town.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! The grounds are paradise on earth and the staff and service were absolutely incredible. Every single person was so sweet and they helped make our anniversary so special! We had an oceanfront suite with a giant lanai which was such a special place to sit and enjoy the champagne they were so generous to gift us.
